twelve princesses

This is my new-old project. I don't know why I start projects, get so excited about them, then put them away just to fret over it for months. I think I'm terrified I won't be able to finish them properly or perfectly.

I've been cleaning out my house lately. I can't believe how much stuff just sits around unfinished or unused. I decided I need to finish this project. I need to finish it for the sake of finishing but also I would like to enjoy the process.

This is a promise to myself to work on it every day.

  2. I have this one too. And I haven't even started thinking about how to do it. I'm too scared I'll mess it up.

  3. This is so cool. Celine has an unfinished tapestry kind of similar to this sitting in her sewing drawer. We'd love to see the finished product or here more about how you are doing this.

  6. Kyndale...This project looks so very promising and worthy! I also have a ton of projects on the go all the time, and pick one in a moment to work on. It's ok for me, though, because I usually end up finishing it sooner or later. I look forward to seeing your creation. The sketch is lovely in itself!

  8. First, I have to just SIGH over those tulips in your header...SIGH! Love the colors. And your project looks lovely -looking forward to watching it come together. I need to organize my 'crafty-space' before I can even think about attempting anything. It looks like a giant fabric dump with a sewing machine drowning somewhere inside. Hmmm...I'll add that to my list :)
