bits and pieces

I found Eli's green dragon in the hall today, minus his eyes.
Our puppy had guilt written all over his furry face.

When I finally gathered up the courage to tell Eli about the accident,
he didn't cry or chase Zephyr around the house. He just said, "oh no" in his most concerned voice, then went back to playing. I couldn't help but laugh. Then I fixed his dragon up with button eyes.

Every day I've been taking pictures, writing a post in my mind.
Then it just doesn't happen.

We went to the hot springs last week. We came home, ate dinner and fell asleep.

We have one more thank you to write. Getting done with this very important task brings final closure to the holiday season. That and finally putting the Christmas boxes in the garage to sleep for another year.

We've been working on Valentines.

And that's just a few of the things that have been filling our days.

  1. You've been busy! We've started valentines too. It's a little slow going. I am glad to have started early! Naughty little puppy... good thing he's so darn cute!

  2. Valentines out of clay? I jumped to your link and am intrigued by the tutorial and the outcome, simple and beautiful. We may have to try that ourselves. What kind of clay are you using?

  3. Oh the springs. We have a place less than two hours away with spring water baths and I'd love to gone one day. And those Valentines look super. I am off the craft store tomorrow and will put clay on my list. And I am right there with you on the write a post in my head, but never get it down. Life has gotten busy here as i am sure it has there. And what a good guy for rolling with the punches!

  4. We have a local hot springs too. Oh how we love it.
It looks like your days are filled with balance and sweetness Kyndale.
